Requirements
Confirm these items in your current game build before following the steps.
Check 01
Enough level progress for the node
Check 02
Available Skill Points
Check 03
Any prerequisite node or path requirement
Quick Step-by-Step
Use this sequence as a checklist, then read the sections below for the reasoning and remaining unknowns.
Step 1
Open the live Skill tree.
Step 2
Select the target node and record its prerequisites.
Step 3
Record the live cost of every required node.
Step 4
Check your current points and the points earned to your target level.
Step 5
Purchase the path in order and verify each unlock.
Step 6
Record the actual cost after purchase.
Skill Unlocks Use Real Requirements
A Skill is not unlocked merely because points are available. The live Skill tree can require a level, a prerequisite node, a movement upgrade, or a path-specific setup. Check the tree before calculating the total cost.
The 3-points-per-level rule tells you how quickly the point balance grows. It does not tell you the cost of each node. Those are separate inputs.
Plan the Unlock Order
List the node you want and every prerequisite that must be purchased first. Add the live cost of each one. If the total is greater than your balance, choose a smaller target or continue leveling rather than spreading points across several unfinished paths.
Movement nodes should be judged by the access they provide. Combat nodes should be judged by the role they fill in your current build.
- 01Open the live Skill tree.
- 02Select the target node and record its prerequisites.
- 03Record the live cost of every required node.
- 04Check your current points and the points earned to your target level.
- 05Purchase the path in order and verify each unlock.
- 06Record the actual cost after purchase.
Why the Calculator Uses a Planned Cost
Individual node costs are not published here, so the calculator asks you to enter the cost shown in your Skill tree. That is more accurate than assigning an estimated price to every Skill.
The calculator can still answer the important questions: how many points you have, how many the plan consumes, and whether the target is currently affordable.
Common Unlock Problems
A greyed-out node may require a level, a prerequisite, a different path, or a system unlock. A point balance alone does not prove that the node is available.
A second problem is buying a combat node before the movement node needed to reach its trainer or route. Check route requirements at the same time as tree requirements.
Build Around One New Skill
When a new Skill is unlocked, test it with the current Clan, style or Art, and weapon before investing further. Use the ability in the situations it is intended to solve and note whether it changes your next requirement.
Do not rebuild around a Skill solely because a tier label ranks it highly. Without damage, cooldown, and scaling values to compare, testing is more useful than a borrowed ranking.
Keep the Skill Ledger
Record the level, node name, live cost, refund or reset status, and actual purchase order. This makes future planning easier and shows exactly where points went.
When new patches change the tree, verify the affected nodes before using an old plan. The database should be updated before old calculations are repeated.
How to Unlock New Skills FAQ
How do I unlock new Skills in Slayers 2?
Meet the live level and prerequisite requirements, then spend the current Skill Point cost shown in the tree.
How many points do new Skills cost?
Individual node costs are not published here. Check the live tree instead of using an estimate.
Why can I not unlock a Skill despite having points?
A level, prerequisite node, path, or related system requirement may be missing.
Can I plan a Skill before I unlock it?
Yes, but use live costs and prerequisites. The Build Calculator does not invent node prices.
