Level 25 baseline

Breathing Styles are part of the Slayer combat path. Eight styles are currently listed: Thunder, Water, Flame, Wind, Sound, Serpent, Insect, and Stone. Level 25 is the current training baseline. Trainer item counts can change, so confirm the live prompt before farming.

What Are Breathing Styles?

A Breathing Style is a Slayer combat system with its own trainer and ability set.

Breathing Styles connect the Slayer route to distinct abilities and combat roles. The launch list contains eight names. Because ability values can change by build and update, accessibility and tested build fit are more useful comparison points than an unsupported damage rank. See Breathing Style tier bands for editorial S/A/B reference tiers with source attribution.

Training requires more than selecting a style name. Follow the Breathing Style unlock route when you are ready to commit. The current route includes a level baseline, a trainer, and for several styles an item, movement, or weapon requirement. Check the live prompt before starting a long farm.

Editorial Breathing Style Tier Ranking

S, A, and B bands from a third-party style tier list. Trainer costs and balance can change after updates.

Compare the Styles

Use accessibility, route access, and the requirements shown in game as the first comparison layer.

Shortest route

Insect lists only the level 25 baseline. It is the clearest first route in the current list.

Movement or item gates

Thunder, Sound, and Serpent combine items with route or movement checks. Confirm Wall Climb or traversal access early.

Higher item counts

Water and Wind list the largest Demon Horn counts. Stone also includes a weapon-access requirement.

How to Choose a Breathing Style

Choose the route you can unlock and test, then compare how its abilities fit your build.

Start with access

  • Confirm that you meet the current level requirement.
  • Check whether the trainer route needs Wall Climb or another movement Skill.
  • Confirm whether the style lists a weapon requirement.
  • Farm only the item count shown by the live prompt.

Then compare build fit

  • Test the first abilities before committing more Skill Points.
  • Check whether the style fits your weapon route and Clan setup.
  • Do not assume a tier label guarantees stronger combat performance.
  • Keep enough points available for the next required node.

Breathing Style Skills

Ability names and cooldowns can change by unlock and update.
